Red in the Face @ The Magnolia

The first night of Red in the Face at The Magnolia and it's going to be a corker! Enjoy a beautiful meal in the restaurant downstairs and then make your way upstairs to enjoy a few beers and a top compere plus three amazing acts.

Acts for the night:

MC - Christian Steel is a much in demand act and MC who plays all over the UK and beyond. He is a regular compere and act in London and the South East for The Comedy Cafe, Headliners, CKP, Mirth Control, Fat Lils and Funhouse Comedy as well as being resident MC every month at The Laughing Pod in Southend. In the North West and North East he has played frequently at The Grinning Idiot (where he recently headlined two nights in place of Brendan Burns), Funny Bones, Big Night Out and Buzz Comedy. He has also played in Holland, Finland and Ireland.

Jay Foreman is a musical comedian who had a hugely successful show in Edinburgh in 2010 which was a near sell out for the whole run and garnered some excellent reviews. He is a regular opener for CKP across the country, won the 2010 Bedford New Comedian of the Year competition, Best Newcomer at the 2009 Musical Comedy Awards and was rated by top comedy website London is Funny as one of the Top 10 New Comedians to watch in 2011.

Jimmy Bird is an act who has stormed it at both our Soho and Bexleyheath gigs and so we wanted him back for the first night in Dulwich. His cheeky charm and stories of unconventional relationships - to say the least - will have you roaring with laughter.

Robin and Partridge are a double act who use sketch, stand up, song and more to hilarious effect. As comfortable in the Tate gallery as a comedy club and as happy at a festival as a celebrities private party they have a diverse and very wide ranging appeal. Last year they played all of the major festivals including - Glastonbury, Bestival, Latitude and The Big Chill - and they are an essential festival act. They have also performed at Daisy Lowe's birthday party and in February 2011 were backstage entertainment at the BRITs! They have played extensively outside the UK including the USA, Holland, Bosnia and Croatia.
