Matt Long (mono_cult, Fina)

We are very excited to announce that SIMIAN MOBILE DISCO will be bringing their Delicatessen party to to tear the decks up in our little basement, with a special 4 hour set.

James Ford and Jas Shaw AKA Simian Mobile Disco all began around seven years ago and gained international attention through their two albums, 2007's Attack Decay Sustain Release and 2009's Temporary Pleasure. They produce their own tracks as well as remixing the likes of The Go! Team, Klaxons and Muse. More recently however, they have moved away from electro-house and pop to a more techno-oriented style. 2010 saw them launch their own label, Delicacies, which releases no-nonsense club tracks named after exotic and often bizarre delicacies from around the world. The album release in 2010 is what brings around their tour suitably titled ‘Delicatessen’, and is what is subsequently bringing the boys along to Leeds’ very own Wire.
