modern amusement enters the year off the back of a crammed and jumping party alongside mono_cult with the fantastic Theo Parrish. 2011 also saw mA+ take over rooms at the notorious Garden Party, represent at Outlook Festival in Croatia and host amazing shows with Berlin’s BERGHAIN crew and then of course there was the REBEL RAVE!

So to kick 2012 off we thought we should start as we mean to go on – we have invited back the SUB:STANCE crew who so expertly took over room two in February last year, to run riot in the main room. If you know anything about bass then you’ll know about SUB:STANCE.

Heading up proceedings SCUBA, who has had a massive year in 2011. With a slew of key releases, continuing domination from his HOTFLUSH imprint, worldwide shows and of course an essential mix live from SONAR, Scuba’s star is on the rise! Next up we see a long awaited return to Leeds from the enigmatic SHACKELTON, performing his ever sought after live show.

SEPALCURE are next up, touring their live AV show all the way from the USA. Following the release of their self-titled debut LP which has received huge plaudits from just about everybody, they head to mA+ to make their Leeds debut! Of course, we also had to invite the mighty BODDIKA to represent as the show would just not be complete without the man who’s been one of our favourite and consistent DJs of the past twelve months.

UK upstart GEORGE FITZGERALD will be in tow with his unique take on house and garage influenced sounds and of course the stalwart of SUB:STANCE, PAUL SPYMANIA will be on hand to ensure order is maintained!

As if all of that wasn’t enough to get your juices flowing we are delighted to welcome the gents at FLUX to proceedings, as they host room two. FLUX has had quite a year with sell out events just about everywhere they’ve done a party in Leeds, providing their unique take on underground sounds to a fresh and willing crowd in our fair city!
