The New Year brings a new chapter for mono_cult as we begin our warehouse party series. In the coming year we will present a number events which return to the stripped back, raw ethos we became known for.

Set in a previously unused industrial space, we are proud to announce the return of our good friend AME (Innervisions) and ‘Third Ear’ records’ rising star WBEZZA. Support is mustered up from local boy and Outcross Records’ head honcho MIGUEL CAMPBELL, recently signed up to Jamie Jones’ Hot creations imprint.

Innervisions AME return to the decks after a stellar mono_cult NYD 2009 set. With releases on labels ranging from Ostgut Ton to Sonar kollektiv and Compost, AME have covered the musical spectrum, following the deeper shade of house without ever losing its complexity or appeal. Their Fabric 42 CD is still regarded as one of the best mix compilations of the last 3 years.

South London’s WBEZZA makes his mono_cult debut this January to showcase his now infamous Live set. With his trio of EPs—Heavystuff, City Shuffle, and New Skank—for Detroit-affiliated London imprint Third Ear, Wbezza has caught the interest of house music devotees, achieving THAT reputation—being equally engaging as both studio artist and live act—he has described as ‘one of the genre's most bankable new talents.’ No wonder he has become such a regular at secretsundaze.
