2010 has been a fantastic year of Louche parties, and as we move into December, we have another special one ready to drop. Teaming up with the legendary Back to Basics crew, we are both proud to present Moon Harbour's Luna City Express.

Two self confessed house nerds, Marco Resmann and Norman Weber had both been exploring electronic music for several years before they first met at the turn of the millennium. After several years of jamming, Luna City Express was born in 2004, a production duo that has laid a blueprint for for how classic and contemporary house could sound in the new millennium. Two successful EP's on Moon Harbour; "Fresh" and "White Russian" became club hits, and label owner Matthias Tanzmann was quick to keep the pair signed to his imprint. The boys have since been key to developing the labels sound; mixing Moon Harbour compilation CDs as well as putting out their debut album "Hello from Planet Earth" in 2009. The album, which ranges from techno to experimental, was a world-wide smash, a futuristic and eclectic selection of tracks all glued together by Luna City Express' cosmic dub tinge. Behind the decks they are no slouches; their special affinity to house music and their unique presence creates a lively atmosphere, and makes for an always incredible performance to witness.

After 3 years in the city, we’re more than excited to join the Basics motley crew for a long overdue festive knees up. Both parties have had fantastic years in 2010, so we're expecting something special for this date. Soundtracked by the intergalactic house music of Luna City Express, this party is definitely one to take the roof off!
