Teknicolor 1st Birthday with Shinedoe

For our 1st Birthday Party we thought we’d get ourselves a treat to share with you lot – that treat being Shinedoe. One of the brightest stars to come out of the Dutch underground scene, Shinedoe is best known for her deep yet rhythmic sets, which seamlessly span dub, funk, jazz, techno and house. A figurehead on the Dutch circuit since 1995, Shinedoe has performed at the huge Dance Valley and Awakenings festivals, as well as in clubs from Germany to China. Shinedoe’s own critically acclaimed productions appeared on Podium, Area Remote, Cocoon and Trapez, all receiving heavy support from her peers Sven Vath, Richie Hawtin and Laurent Garnier. In 2004 Shinedoe launched her own label with Dylan Hermelijn aka 2000 and One: Intacto records is now one of the major labels responsible for the ever-popular Dutch school of sound we know today, and continues to showcase artists like D’Julz, Anton Pieete and Polder. Shinedoe joins us for only her second ever Leeds appearance to help us celebrate a very special first year - we hope you can join us.
