The Mint Club proudly announces a series of exclusive events curated by our in-house team, designed to showcase the biggest names in electronic music alongside support from promising local talent in one of the best underground club spaces the country has to offer. Occurring two to three times a year we aim to bring rare appearances from top quality djs and live acts to a more intimate environment.

The first of our ad-hoc events welcomes one of the most innovative icons of the UK house and electronic phenomenon - Sasha.

Refusing to be defined by genres and boundaries, Sasha carved a solid reputation as a truly unique performer by blurring the distinction between artist and dj, trailblaizing a path followed by many of his contemporaries. Since entering the world of electronic music with his now infamous residencies at Shelly's and Renaissance, Sasha helped to shape and create a niche, forward-thinking sound, rightfully earning him the cult status that he enjoys today. Sasha can now be found performing at the biggest festivals in the world - Sonar, Creamfields and Global Gathering - as well as in the most imortant clubs in the world. Aside from djing Sasha has ably stepped up to the mark as an acclaimed songwriter, remixer and producer, tastefully reconstructing the work of Depeche Mode, Madonna and Kasabian. His own successful concept-albums, Airdrawndagger, Involver and Invol2ver can be credited with forging a new template for the traditional output of the dj/artist and alongside his Northern Exposure mix series have sold more than one million copies. In 2010 Sasha continues to "pioneer the very genre he helped create". Join us within the intimate confines of the Mint Club for a truly unmissable event.

Leeds based David Hulme is a promoter and resident dj for one of the cities biggest success stories of the last year - Cognosco. He is making some exciting noise on the northern circuit at the moment with his unique blend of Deep and Tech House. His sound continues drawing crowds to the dance floor, a future name to watch in the UK? Most definitely!

Rob is fast becoming an exciting talent to emerge from the UK’s House scene. After his debut release on Soulman Music storming straight to the Beatport top 10 Deep House chart, he has managed to secure bookings across Europe and beyond, and has made production collaborations with & for respected House imprints across the globe, such as Cubism, Evasive and Beef Records.
