The Garden Party returns for another season in which, as you’d expect, we have a whole host of improvements and exclusives, however the first Garden Part of the year is particularly special in that it also marks ten years of Technique events. The date signals the end of Technique’s solo events and sees us move on to new projects and set our sights on other tasks which we’ve been waiting to turn our hands to. From this point forth Technique will no longer run events outside of the Garden Party. So it’s with a tear in our eye that we say a massive thanks to all who’ve been involved and been in attendance over the years – we feel like we made a real difference over the years and have made an irreversible impact on the Leeds scene and could not have had half the fun without you all – so thank you! For just an idea of what that impact might have been take a glimpse at www.technique.org.uk/past-guests :: More info to follow on our Facebook page
Now, back to this years festivities – we expect that you’ll be making an extra special effort given our big news so we’ve made an extra special effort to ensure that the music, programming, sound, décor and production is better than ever.
Leeds favourite JAMIE JONES takes on the weighty task of headlining this year’s opening Garden Party. Jamie needs little introduction, you know who he is, you know what he does, you know that Jamie’s appearance will be more than a little memorable. Next up we have the first of two debut appearances in Leeds. Connecticut’s JUS-ED has a vibe, an aura about him, a sentiment which is reflected in the way that he DJs. Catch a very rare appearance as he makes the trip to Leeds for the first time. Next up we see man of the moment ADAM MARSHALL jump a flight to Leeds to make his first appearance in the city. Adam’s found favour recently with releases for the likes of Will Saul’s Aus as well as Mike Shannon’s Cynosure as well as his own ever impressive New Kanada imprint. Last but not least we welcome local boy done good as SIMON BAKER appears on his first Leeds date as part of his world tour for his tasty debut album Traces.
The Future Disco boys make their way to Leeds for the first Garden Party of the year, Dom and Sean have been building a hell of a reputation of late with parties at Ministry and Ibiza’s Space as well as an award winning compilation series – roll up, roll up!
